Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Manual Testing Engineer to join our team at WeMakeScholars. As a Manual Testing Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications through manual testing. This is a full-time position based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

Qualifications and Skills

1 to 3 years of experience in manual testing
Proficiency in using Jira for test case management
Strong knowledge of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
Experience in functional testing and regression testing
Familiarity with UI testing and database testing
Ability to perform end-to-end testing of complex software systems
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and collaboration skills

Roles and Responsibilities

Create and execute manual test cases based on the project requirements
Identify software issues and report them to the development team
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery
Perform functional, regression, and UI testing to verify system functionality
Conduct database testing to ensure data integrity and accuracy
Conduct end-to-end testing to ensure smooth system workflows
Participate in test plan reviews and provide feedback for improvement
Document test results and create detailed test reports
Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in manual testing
