Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Manual Testing Engineer to join our team at WeMakeScholars. As a Manual Testing Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications through manual testing. This is a full-time position based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

Qualifications and Skills

• 1 to 3 years of experience in manual testing
• Proficiency in using Jira for test case management
• Strong knowledge of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
• Experience in functional testing and regression testing
• Familiarity with UI testing and database testing
• Ability to perform end-to-end testing of complex software systems
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and collaboration skills

Roles and Responsibilities

• Create and execute manual test cases based on the project requirements
• Identify software issues and report them to the development team
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery
• Perform functional, regression, and UI testing to verify system functionality
• Conduct database testing to ensure data integrity and accuracy
• Conduct end-to-end testing to ensure smooth system workflows
• Participate in test plan reviews and provide feedback for improvement
• Document test results and create detailed test reports
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in manual testing
