Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled WordPress Plugin Developer with expertise in developing and customizing custom plugins, particularly WooCommerce addon plugins. The ideal candidate should be proficient in PHP and have a strong understanding of WordPress hooks, filters, and coding standards. Experience with PHP frameworks like CodeIgniter or Laravel is an added advantage, as such candidates can transition smoothly into WordPress development with proper training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress plugins, including WooCommerce addon plugins.
• Ensure adherence to WordPress coding standards for scalable, secure, and efficient plugins.
• Utilize WordPress hooks, filters, actions, and shortcodes to create custom functionalities.
• Debug and resolve performance, compatibility, or security issues in plugins.
• Collaborate with the team to integrate custom plugins seamlessly into projects.
• Provide technical support, updates, and enhancements for developed plugins.
• Stay up to date with the latest developments in WordPress and WooCommerce ecosystems.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

✅ PHP Expertise: Minimum 1 year of professional experience.

✅ WordPress Plugin Development: Strong understanding of WordPress architecture and plugin development.

✅ Hooks & Filters: Hands-on experience with WordPress hooks, filters, actions, and shortcodes.

✅ WooCommerce: Familiarity with WooCommerce addon plugin development.

✅ PHP Frameworks: Experience with CodeIgniter or Laravel (a plus but not mandatory).

✅ Frontend Knowledge: Hands-on experience with MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

✅ API Integrations: Understanding of REST API integration and third-party API usage.
