Job Overview

We are seeking an Inside Sales Specialist for a full-time position based in Mumbai or Bangalore. This mid-level role requires a candidate with up to 6 years of relevant work experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business development and inside sales in the edtech sector, focusing on promoting and selling technical and upskilling courses. This role is vital to our mission of empowering individuals by connecting them with the right educational opportunities and career advancement resources.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Demonstrated expertise in business development activities, including generating leads and building client relationships (Mandatory skill).
  • Proven experience in inside sales with the ability to understand client needs and close sales effectively (Mandatory skill).
  • Expertise as an academic consultant, guiding clients or students in educational and career decisions (Mandatory skill).
  • Experience in a business development associate (BDA) position, focusing on strategy and execution to drive business growth.
  • Previous experience as a business development executive (BDE) focusing on client acquisition and retention.
  • Strong academic counseling skills aimed at providing valuable educational and career guidance to clients.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team to achieve individual and corporate goals.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Conduct sales calls and client meetings to understand client requirements and promote technical and upskilling courses.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and current clients to foster business growth in the edtech industry.
  • Provide educational and career counseling to guide students in selecting appropriate courses that align with their career aspirations.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the educational sector to expand the company’s client base and service offerings.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure alignment of sales strategies and objectives related to course offerings.
  • Participate in the development and execution of sales and marketing strategies to achieve company targets in the education technology domain.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and competitor activities to provide insights and recommendations for company growth.
