Job Overview

We are looking for a Placement Manager to join our team at Youth4Jobs Foundation. As a Placement Manager, you will be responsible for connecting youth with disability to job opportunities and ensuring their successful placement. This is a full-time position based in Pune, Maharashtra, India, with an employment type of Full-Time.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• 1-3 years of experience in placement or recruitment, preferably in the disability sector
• Knowledge of inclusive hiring practices and disability rights
• Strong networking and relationship-building skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools
• Passion for empowering individuals with disabilities and creating equal employment opportunities

Roles and Responsibilities

• Coordinate with colleges, companies, and job seekers to understand their placement requirements
• Map job opportunities suitable for individuals with disabilities
• Carry out market scanning to identify potential employers and job openings
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with companies for inclusive hiring
• Organize sensitization workshops for employers to promote inclusion in the workplace
• Provide counseling and guidance to job seekers on interview skills and career development
• Facilitate the placement process, including resume screening, interview scheduling, and offer negotiation
• Ensure successful placement of youth with disability and monitor their performance
• Collect and analyze data on employment trends and outcomes to improve placement strategies
