Job Description:

We are seeking experienced and passionate Subject Teachers specialised in English and Chemistry. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the subject. You will be responsible for teaching, mentoring, and guiding students to achieve their best possible scores by delivering engaging lessons, tailored instruction, and offering test-taking strategies.

Grades: 9 to 12 (IGCSE, AS, and A Levels)

Responsibilities:

• Teaching: Deliver comprehensive and engaging lessons in the specified subjects, aligning with the IGCSE, AS, and A Level curricula.
• Curriculum Development: Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments tailored to meet educational standards and the needs of students.
• Student Support: Offer individual support and feedback to students, helping them understand complex concepts and excel in their studies.
• Evaluation: Regularly assess and monitor student progress through assignments, tests, and exams, providing constructive feedback to foster improvement.
• Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and conducive learning environment, managing classroom behaviour and dynamics effectively.
• Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest educational trends and teaching methodologies in your subject area.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: A major in the relevant subject area (English, or Chemistry) is required. Additional qualifications like a B.Ed. or teaching certification are preferred.
• Experience: Previous experience teaching at the secondary level, particularly in IGCSE, AS, and A Levels, is highly desirable.
• Skills: Strong communication skills, excellent subject knowledge, and the ability to engage and motivate students.
