We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Math Tutor to provide high-quality, remote tutoring to students within the US Curriculum (K-12). This role requires expertise in delivering engaging and effective math lessons tailored to individual student needs. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, familiarity with US educational standards, and the ability to work flexible hours, particularly during US-based time zones.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver math tutoring sessions for students across grades K-12, aligned with the US Curriculum standards.
• Provide instruction in fundamental math concepts, algebra, geometry, calculus, and other topics as per the grade level.
• Tailor lessons to address individual student strengths, weaknesses, and learning styles.
• Conduct one-on-one and small group tutoring sessions, ensuring each student comprehends the material.
• Prepare customized lesson plans and assignments as necessary to support student learning.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and strategies for improvement.
• Maintain an engaging and supportive virtual learning environment.
• Collaborate with parents, guardians, or supervisors to discuss student progress and address any concerns.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (required); teaching certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience tutoring or teaching math within the US K-12 curriculum.
• Strong understanding of the US educational standards and curriculum guidelines.
• Excellent communication skills with a neutral accent and clear articulation.
• Proficiency in virtual teaching tools and platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.).
• Availability to work during US time zones
• Reliable internet connection, computer, and PenTab or similar device for online instruction.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with the Common Core or AP-level math content.
• Experience in preparing students for standardized tests, including SAT/ACT (a plus).
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills to support effective tutoring sessions.
