Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supervisor to oversee and manage our daily transport operations. The ideal candidate will ensure the timely and efficient movement of goods, while optimizing transportation strategies to enhance cost-effectiveness and service delivery.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Supervise daily transport operations, ensuring timely and efficient movement of goods.
• Manage a team of logistics personnel, providing guidance and support to enhance performance and productivity.
• Develop and implement transportation strategies to optimize routes, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.
• Monitor and maintain compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
• Collaborate with other departments, including warehouse and inventory management, to ensure seamless operations.
• Analyze transportation metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including shipment schedules, delivery confirmations, and performance reports.
• Coordinate with third-party logistics providers and vendors to ensure reliable service.
• Address and resolve transportation-related issues and customer complaints promptly and effectively.
• Conduct regular training sessions for staff on best practices in transport logistics and safety protocols.
