Job Overview
We are looking for a Front Office Receptionist to join our team at Yash Dental in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. As the front face of our clinic, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth flow of operations at the reception area. This is a full-time position suitable for candidates with 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role.
Qualifications and Skills
- 1 to 3 years of experience as a Front Office Receptionist or in a similar customer-facing role
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Proficient in phone etiquette and handling multi-line phone systems
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in patient records and financial transactions
- Demonstrate professionalism, positive attitude, and empathy towards patients
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Prior experience in a healthcare or dental clinic would be an advantage
Roles and Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a warm and friendly manner
- Manage the front desk, including answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and handling patient queries
- Provide accurate information about our services, treatments, and clinic policies
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and well-maintained
- Collect patient information and medical history forms, and update the records in our database
- Assist in coordinating patient referrals, follow-ups, and insurance processes
- Handle payment transactions, issue invoices, and maintain financial records
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient patient flow and appointment scheduling
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to data protection protocols
- Handle any administrative tasks assigned by the management
