Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Data Annotation Specialist with a minimum of 1 year of work experience to join our team at Xpressedu. This is a remote, fixed-term employment role based in Noida. The candidate will play a critical role in supporting our data projects by providing high-quality annotations, following precise guidelines, and maintaining meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications and Skills

• Must have strong attention to detail, ensuring data accuracy and consistency in annotations.
• Proven experience in data analysis, able to interpret complex data sets and provide meaningful insights.
• Excellent critical thinking skills to identify patterns, inconsistencies, and trends in data.
• Domain knowledge related to higher education or data annotation is highly preferred.
• Effective communication skills, able to convey insights and collaborate with team members efficiently.
• Strong research skills to source relevant information and contribute to data quality.
• Quality assurance experience to ensure compliance with guidelines and standards.
• Exceptional time management abilities, capable of meeting deadlines and managing priorities.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Annotate data accurately based on predefined guidelines and criteria.
• Review and verify data to ensure annotations meet quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members to refine annotation processes and improve efficiency.
• Conduct research to improve domain knowledge and contribute to project goals.
• Assist in training new team members on annotation processes and best practices.
• Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely completion of annotation tasks.
• Maintain detailed records of annotations and project progress.
• Participate in regular quality assurance reviews to ensure data integrity.
