Responsibilities:

• Coordinates for user acceptance testing (UAT) with the lines of business staff. Create test scenarios/cases based on the business requirements.

• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.

• Ensures the application meets all relevant quality assurance protocols, processes and procedures.

• Acts as a manual tester to handle all manual testing duties.

• Documents, tracks and verifies defects and fixes in assigned applications.

• Assists in development and streamlining of quality assurance models, providing input based on relevant empirical information.

• Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.

• Work with a business analyst/project manager to get test scenarios/cases reviewed and approved.

• Assists in defining new tools for use in quality assessment.

• Communicates clearly and effectively with all the stakeholders.

• Participates in ensuring that assigned projects adhere to agreed-upon functional specifications and applicable quality assurance standards.

Qualifying Criteria:

• 1-3 Years of experience in manual testing and experience in web-based applications.

• Experienced in developing, documenting and implementing quality assurance standards.

• Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools.

• Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills.

• Experienced in writing new test cases and modifying existing test cases based on requirements.
