Job Overview

WTT INTERNATIONAL PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative mechanical solutions for our Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) projects. This is a full-time position based in Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu, India, and is suitable for candidates with 1 to 3 years of experience.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in water treatment systems.
• Proficient in using Creo Parametric and AutoCAD software for 3D modeling and drafting.
• Knowledge of pipeline routing, equipment selection, and detail engineering.
• Familiarity with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) principles.
• Experience in sheet metal design and manufacturing processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical ideas clearly.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality designs.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical solutions for ZLD projects using Creo Parametric and AutoCAD software.
• Perform pipeline routing, equipment selection, and detail engineering for water treatment system design.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with project specifications and client requirements.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for proposed designs.
• Ensure designs adhere to industry standards and regulations.
• Prepare technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Participate in design review meetings and provide technical assistance to project teams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and propose innovative design solutions.
