Job Title: WordPress Developer 

Location: Ahmedabad, India (Candidates should be based in Ahmedabad or willing to relocate) 

Job Description: 

We are seeking a skilled and experienced WordPress Developer to join our team. As a WordPress 

Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress websites 

and applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers and 

content creators, to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality WordPress solutions. 

Responsibilities: 

∙Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites and custom WordPress themes/plugins. 

∙Collaborate with designers and content creators to implement visual and interactive 

elements that enhance user experience. 

∙Customize and extend existing WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific project requirements. 

∙Optimize websites for performance, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility. 

∙Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise and provide timely resolutions. 

∙Conduct regular updates and maintenance tasks, including backups and security enhancements. 

∙Stay update with the latest WordPress trends, best practices, and security standards. 

∙Work with external APIs and integrate third party services, plugins, and APIs into WordPress  websites. 

∙Collaborate with the QA team to ensure the quality of deliverables and participate in testing efforts when required. 

∙Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal stakeholders. 

Requirements: 

∙Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent 

practical experience). 

∙4-5 years of hands on experience in developing WordPress websites and custom WordPress 

themes/plugins. 

∙Proficient in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL. 

∙Strong understanding of WordPress architecture, themes, plugins, and template hierarchy. 

∙Experience with popular WordPress page builders and frameworks 

(e.g., Elementor, Beaver 

Builder, Underscores). 

∙Knowledge of responsive web design principles and mobile optimization techniques. 

∙Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git. 

∙Experience with performance optimization and caching techniques for WordPress. 

∙Understanding of security best practices and ability to implement security measures in WordPress. 

∙Strong problem solving skills and the ability to think critically and independently.
