Spacecraft Structural Engineer

Education : Master’s degree in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering

Experience : Minimum 2+ years of experience in relevant or related work

Requirements

• Experience conducting structural assessments of spacecraft structures, including mass

optimization, material selection, trade-off analysis, and model verification and

validation using finite element method.

• Experience performing structural and dynamic simulations, including acoustic and

thermoelastic analysis.

• Experience with spacecraft structural testing, including test procedure development,

test execution, and post-test data processing.

• Knowledge of composite materials, nonlinear materials, energy and finite element

methods, fracture, and fatigue analysis.

• Familiarity with material selection and ruggedization techniques for spacecrafts.

• Familiarity with structural analysis of composites and nonlinear material simulation.

• Working knowledge of CAD software(Catia) ,FEA software(Ansys) and geometric

dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
