The equity dealer is responsible for executing buy and sell orders for stocks and other equity securities on behalf of clients or the employing firm. Key Responsibilities:

  • Order Execution: Execute buy and sell orders for equities, ensuring timely and accurate trades.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor financial markets, analyze market trends, and stay updated with news and events that could impact stock prices.
  • Client Interaction: Communicate with clients to understand their investment goals and provide advice on equity trades.
  • Portfolio Management: Assist in managing client portfolios by recommending buy/sell actions based on market conditions and research.
