Job Title: Field Sales Executive – IT Sales

Position Overview:

  • Responsible for generating new business, building relationships, and selling IT products/services.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets while providing excellent customer service.
  • Represent the company in the field with a focus on IT solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Lead Generation:
  • Identify, prospect, and generate new business opportunities within assigned territories.
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of leads, ensuring a constant flow of sales opportunities.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs and IT solutions.
  • Present IT products/services to potential customers through cold calling, in-person meetings, and virtual demos.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Meet with clients regularly to understand their business needs, propose solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Provide tailored IT solutions based on customer requirements, presenting product features, benefits, and value propositions effectively.
  • Sales Execution and Target Achievement:
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients.
  • Close sales, negotiate contracts, and manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to finalizing the deal.
  • Market and Product Knowledge:
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and developments in the IT industry.
  • Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams regarding market demands and customer preferences.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
  • Prepare regular sales reports to monitor progress against targets, opportunities, and challenges.


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education:

o  Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field. Relevant certifications in IT sales or technology will be a plus.

  • Experience:

o  Proven experience in field sales, preferably in the IT or technology sector (2+ years).

o  Experience in selling software, hardware, networking solutions, or IT services is highly desirable.

o  Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.

  • Skills:

o  Strong understanding of IT products and services.

o  Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

o  Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at all levels.

o  Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and a team player.

o  Proficient in using CRM software, MS Office, and other sales tools.

o  Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.

  • Additional Requirements:

o  Willingness to travel within the assigned area.

o  This role requires frequent travel within assigned territories to meet clients.

o  Occasional evening or weekend work may be necessary based on client schedules.
