Job Title: Data Analyst

Experience: 5+ years

Location : Remote/ contract

Mandatory Skills:

• Proficiency in SQL
• Advanced knowledge of Power BI
• Experience with MS SQL or Azure SQL databases
• Strong understanding of ETL processes, including SSIS or Azure Data Factory

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain SQL queries and scripts to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
• Design and implement data models to support business requirements.
• Create and maintain interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI to visualize key metrics and trends.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
• Optimize ETL processes for efficiency and performance, utilizing tools such as SSIS or Azure Data Factory.
• Perform data validation and quality assurance to ensure accuracy and consistency of reports.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to streamline data workflows.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analysis and visualization techniques.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in SQL with experience writing complex queries and stored procedures.
• Advanced knowledge of Power BI, including report development and data modeling.
• Experience working with MS SQL Server or Azure SQL databases.
• Strong understanding of ETL processes and tools such as SSIS or Azure Data Factory.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau or QlikView.
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
• Understanding of machine learning techniques and predictive analytics.
