We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Purchase Executive with a background in the pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing procurement activities, ensuring the timely availability of materials, and maintaining cost-effective inventory levels while adhering to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Procurement Management:
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, pricing, and delivery capabilities.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure advantageous terms.
  • Issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
  1. Inventory Control:
  • Monitor inventory levels and forecast requirements to prevent shortages or excess stock.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and production teams to manage inventory effectively.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
  1. Supplier Relationship Management:
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and develop new supplier partnerships.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and implement improvements to ensure high-quality supplies.
  • Resolve any issues or discrepancies with suppliers promptly.
  1. Compliance and Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure all procured materials comply with regulatory and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the quality assurance team to manage supplier audits and quality checks.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all procurement activities.
  1. Cost Management:
  • Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Implement strategies to reduce procurement costs without compromising quality.
  • Prepare and analyze procurement reports to track spending and identify areas for improvement.
  1. Coordination and Communication:
  • Work closely with the production, quality control, and finance teams to align procurement activities with company objectives.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to understand and meet their material requirements.
  • Provide regular updates on procurement status and any potential issues.
