Job Summary:


We are seeking a skilled Export Manager to oversee our company's export operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing export strategies, managing international sales, and ensuring compliance with export regulations. The Export Manager will work closely with various departments to optimize efficiency and maximize profitability in international markets.


Responsibilities:


  1. Develop and implement export strategies to expand the company's presence in international markets.
  2. Identify new business opportunities and markets for export sales.
  3. Establish and maintain relationships with international distributors, agents, and customers.
  4. Negotiate contracts and terms of sale with overseas partners.
  5. Coordinate export shipments, including documentation, customs clearance, and logistics.
  6. Ensure compliance with export regulations and laws in all target markets.
  7. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to adapt export strategies accordingly.
  8. Provide guidance and support to sales and marketing teams on international business development.
  9. Analyze export sales performance and develop strategies to improve profitability.
  10. Collaborate with finance department to manage export pricing and budgets.
  11. Resolve any issues or disputes related to export sales or shipments.
  12. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in export management.


Requirements:


  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  2. Proven experience in export management, preferably in a similar industry.
  3. In-depth knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements.
  4. Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with international partners.
  5. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  6. Proficiency in relevant software applications, such as Microsoft Office and export management software.
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Willingness to travel internationally as required.
  9. Certification in export management or related field is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Previous experience in managing export operations for a multinational corporation.
  2. Fluency in multiple languages.
  3. Familiarity with export financing and payment methods.
  4. Experience with market research and analysis in international markets.
