Job Description: Business Development Manager - Short Video/Live Streaming Application


Position Overview:


We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to join our team, specializing in the rapidly growing realm of short video and live streaming applications. The ideal candidate should possess a robust background in the entertainment industry, particularly in short video apps like Moj, MX TakaTak, Instagram Reels, Chingari, Josh, YouTube Shorts, Roposo, and similar platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of the market landscape, the ability to foster strategic partnerships, and a proven track record of driving growth and revenue within the entertainment space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Agency Recruitment and Expansion:Identify and target agencies from various live streaming apps, social media platforms, offline and online channels, aiming to onboard a defined number of new agencies and hosts on a monthly basis.
  • Develop and execute strategies to engage potential agencies, emphasizing the unique value propositions of our platform.
  • Agency Support and Revenue Enhancement:Act as a problem solver and consultant for agency partners, offering insights and solutions to help them increase their revenue month by month.
  • Collaborate closely with agencies to ensure they are leveraging the platform effectively, addressing any concerns, and optimizing their content.
  • Spenders Recruitment:Lead efforts to recruit spenders from external sources, fostering relationships with advertisers and sponsors interested in leveraging the application's reach and user base.
  • Stakeholder Relationship Management:Maintain daily communication with spenders, cultivating strong and sustainable relationships to facilitate collaboration and partnership growth.
  • Competitor Analysis:Continuously monitor competitor applications to gather valuable insights, identifying trends, features, and strategies that can inform our own platform's growth and development.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (at least 2 years In Short video application or live straming application) in business development, partnership management, or sales within the entertainment industry, specifically in the short video/live streaming sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of popular short video platforms such as Moj, MX TakaTak, Instagram Reels, Chingari, Josh, YouTube Shorts, Roposo, and similar apps.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain successful business relationships, with a track record of driving growth and revenue.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the capacity to provide actionable insights to partners for revenue enhancement.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in market research and competitor analysis.
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
