Shift: Night Shift

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled PHP Developer to join our team for the night shift. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with WordPress and Shopify development, and will be responsible for creating, customizing, and maintaining websites to meet client needs. As a night shift developer, you will be expected to work independently and efficiently, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress and Shopify websites based on client specifications and requirements.
• Design and implement theme-based websites using pre-existing templates or custom designs.
• Create custom-coded websites on WordPress and Shopify, ensuring responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility.
• Add and manage website content, including pages, images, and multimedia elements.
• Collaborate with designers and other team members to ensure cohesive design and functionality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to website hosting, SSL certificates, and general hosting errors.
• Optimize website performance for speed, security, and SEO.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in WordPress and Shopify development.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a WordPress and Shopify Web Developer, with a strong portfolio of past projects.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Experience with WordPress theme development and customization.
• Familiarity with Shopify theme development and Liquid programming language.
• Ability to work with popular WordPress and Shopify plugins and extensions.
• Strong understanding of website hosting environments and experience working with hosting providers.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
