Job Overview

Webexcel Technologies Private Limited is seeking a Junior Node.js Developer for a part-time, remote, freelance position based in Chennai. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of Node.js, JavaScript, and Express.js, with at least 1 to 3 years of experience. The role requires developing secure, scalable digital solutions that align with business objectives.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in Node.js (Mandatory skill) to efficiently build server-side applications and backend services. Demonstrated ability in using Node.js frameworks and libraries effectively is crucial.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript (Mandatory skill), including the latest ECMAScript standards, to write clean and maintainable code that enhances system functionality.
• Experience with Express.js (Mandatory skill) for creating robust web applications and APIs, ensuring a seamless and efficient development process.
• Experience in developing RESTful APIs, enabling seamless integration and communication between different software components.
• Knowledge of MongoDB for handling databases, enabling effective management and storage of application data and schemas.
• Proficiency in version control using Git to track changes, collaborate with team members, and ensure code version consistency.
• Basic understanding of HTML and CSS, essential for integrating backend services with frontend components and enhancing user interface.
• Ability to work independently and remotely, demonstrating self-discipline and time management skills to meet project timelines and deliverables.
