Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Tester to join our team. As a Software Tester, you will be responsible for testing and ensuring the quality of software applications developed by our company. You will work closely with our development team to identify and fix any bugs or issues and ensure a seamless user experience. This is a full-time position based in Bangalore Urban, Karnataka, India.

Qualifications and Skills

• 1-3 years of experience as a Software Tester or similar role
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience in manual testing and test automation
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle and agile methodologies
• Experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• ISTQB certification is a plus

Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform functional, regression, and user acceptance testing on software applications
• Identify and report bugs, issues, and defects in a clear and concise manner
• Work closely with the development team to understand software requirements and design test cases
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts
• Execute test cases and track defects using bug tracking tools
• Collaborate with the development team to reproduce and fix reported issues
• Conduct thorough testing on new features and enhancements
• Ensure the software applications meet the specified quality standards
• Provide support during the software release process
