Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Senior Elixir Developer to join our project team. The project is expected to span 5-6 months and requires expertise in Elixir development, particularly in an agile environment. Strong fundamentals in PostgreSQL, AWS services, CI/CD deployments, and familiarity with React for front-end integration are essential. Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are crucial for collaborating with team members and stakeholders.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain scalable Elixir applications aligned with project goals and timelines

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate front-end technologies and ensure seamless application functionality.

• Implement and optimize database solutions using PostgreSQL.

• Deploy applications using AWS services and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient delivery.

• Participate in agile practices such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to drive project success. 

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Proven experience as an Elixir Developer, ideally in projects of similar duration and complexity.

• Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL database management and optimization.

• Hands-on experience with AWS services and familiarity with CI/CD methodologies.

• Understanding of React or other front-end frameworks for effective application integration.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English to articulate ideas and collaborate effectively within the team.

Education Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.

• Certifications or additional training in Elixir, AWS, or related technologies.

• Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and project requirements.
