Job Overview

VPLAK is seeking an Executive PHP Developer to join our dynamic team in Gurgaon. This is a full-time position focusing on developing and maintaining our online shopping platform. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills, particularly in PHP 8, MySQL, and JavaScript.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong proficiency in PHP 8 (Mandatory skill), demonstrating the capability to build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable PHP code.
• Solid understanding of MySQL (Mandatory skill) for database management and ability to perform complex queries to drive backend functionalities.
• Proficient in JavaScript (Mandatory skill) with an understanding of its core principles to develop dynamic and interactive web applications.
• Experience with jQuery to create responsive and visually appealing web pages, enhancing the user experience.
• Thorough knowledge of Core PHP to help design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for high throughput and scalability.
• Proficiency in HTML and CSS, with a focus on building user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing front-end interfaces.
• Ability to analyze and debug code, identifying performance bottlenecks and solving complex technological challenges efficiently.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement new software programs using PHP and other technologies within the company’s tech stack.
• Maintain and improve the performance of existing code, recommending improvements to enhance stability and efficiency.
• Conduct software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging, while managing and supporting components of the company’s applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features tailored to client requirements.
• Gather customer and end-user feedback to recommend innovative solutions that enhance the customer journey on the platform.
• Document code changes and maintain thorough records to ensure cohesive team functionality and support future development needs.
• Participate in code reviews and peer feedback to foster better coding practices and improve the overall quality of the codebase.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to identify innovative opportunities for VPLAK's platform.
