Job Summary: The Product Delivery Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of products, ensuring they meet quality standards, are delivered on time, and within budget. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, setting clear objectives, and driving the execution of projects to achieve business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Strategy:
- Collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, and development teams to define project objectives, scope, and success criteria.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure effective product delivery.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and roadblocks that could impact project success.
Team Leadership:
- Build and lead cross-functional project teams, including developers, designers, and quality assurance professionals.
- Define roles and responsibilities within the team, ensuring clarity and accountability.
- Foster a collaborative and productive working environment.
Execution and Delivery:
- Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and adjust plans as necessary to meet objectives.
- Ensure that products are delivered on time and within budget while maintaining high quality standards.
- Coordinate with development teams to manage sprints, releases, and product updates.
Communication and Stakeholder Management:
- Communicate project status, milestones, and risks to stakeholders, including executives, product owners, and team members.
- Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating technical information into understandable terms.
Quality Assurance and Testing:
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to define testing strategies and ensure product quality.
- Implement quality control processes to identify and resolve defects and issues.
Continuous Improvement:
- Conduct post-project reviews to analyze outcomes and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement best practices, methodologies, and tools to enhance product delivery processes.
Resource Management:
- Manage project resources, including budget allocation and resource allocation.
- Identify resource constraints and work on solutions to address them.
Ownership:
- Should take ownership for all the activities in product development and drive the results.
- Create strategy for changes needed and get the approvals to implement and bring the desired results.
- Should be passionate about the job and being part of great journey. Not applicable for someone who think this is an another job.
- Should have flexibility to coordinate and work with various other departments and contribute for success of the product.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience in project management, product management, or a related role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and navigate complex, fast-paced environments.
Preferred Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in product based company
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master, or similar).
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Experience with project management software and collaboration tools.
