Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled Export Executive to join our team at VINAYAK INGREDIENTS (INDIA) PVT. LTD. in Mumbai. As an Export Executive, you will be responsible for managing the export operations of our company, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, and maximizing sales opportunities in the international market. The ideal candidate should have 1 to 3 years of experience in export operations and possess excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in International Business, Export Management, or related field.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in export operations, preferably in the food or chemical industry.
- Strong knowledge of international trade regulations and documentation.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with international clients.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in using MS Office applications and export-related software.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Fluency in English and knowledge of additional foreign languages is a plus.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end export operations, including documentation, customs clearance, logistics, and customer coordination.
- Minimum 1-4 years of experience in Pre-shipment & post-shipment documentation, Container Stuffing Calculation, Freight Negotiation, CHA follow-up, Food/Feed related compliances, documentation. Liaison with Govt authorities. Candidates from Food Ingredients / Nutraceuticals / Pharma fields preferred.
- Ensure compliance with international trade laws and regulations
- Develop and maintain relationships with international customers, distributors, and agents.
- Identify new market opportunities and expand the company's presence in the international market.
- Prepare and negotiate sales contracts and agreements with international buyers.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competition, and pricing to optimize sales and profitability.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery and quality assurance of products.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and provide effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of export transactions and generate reports as required.
- Stay updated with changes in export regulations and industry best practices.
