Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer with 2+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will design intuitive and engaging user experiences for our digital products, ensuring seamless interaction and visual appeal.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Skills

• Wireframing and Prototyping: Proficiency with tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or Axure.

2. User Research and Analysis

• User Research: Conducting surveys, interviews, and usability tests to understand user needs.
• Personas and User Journeys: Creating detailed user personas and mapping their journey to identify pain points.

3. Design Principles and Aesthetics

• Typography and Color Theory: Strong grasp of fonts, color palettes, and visual harmony.
• Visual Hierarchy: Understanding how to prioritize elements to guide user attention.
• Interaction Design: Knowledge of micro-interactions, animations, and transitions to enhance user experience.

4. Problem-solving and Critical Thinking

• Design Thinking: Following a user-centric approach to ideate and solve problems.
• Empathy: Understanding user challenges and designing solutions to address their needs.
• Iterative Design: Ability to refine designs through feedback and testing.

5. Collaboration and Communication

• Cross-functional collaboration: Working effectively with developers, product managers, and stakeholders.
• Storytelling: Presenting design ideas clearly through storytelling and visuals.
• Documentation: Creating clear guidelines, specifications, and design documentation.

6. Soft Skills

• Creativity: Innovating and thinking outside the box.
• Adaptability: Being open to feedback and adjusting designs accordingly.
• Time Management: Meeting deadlines and managing multiple projects efficiently.

7. Industry Knowledge

• Accessibility Standards: Designing for inclusivity and meeting WCAG standards.
• Trends and Best Practices: Staying updated with the latest design trends and UX methodologies.

Requirements

• Experience: 2 years of professional experience as a UI/UX Designer.
• Skills: Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar software.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, responsive design, and accessibility standards.
• Tools: Familiarity with prototyping tools (e.g., InVision, Axure) and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
• Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing past design projects, including UX processes, wireframes, and UI designs.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in agile development environments.
• Familiarity with front-end development principles (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Knowledge of usability testing tools like Hotjar or Google Analytics.
• Should have experience with client communication.
