As an Academic Counselor, you will be responsible for providing guidance and support to students in their academic journey. This is a full-time position based in Mumbai Suburban, Maharashtra, India. The ideal candidate should have 1 to 3 years of experience in educational sales, counseling, student counseling, career counseling, and lead generation.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field
• Proven experience in educational sales, counseling, student counseling, career counseling, and lead generation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent listening and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
• Knowledge of educational systems and college admission processes
• Passion for helping students achieve their academic and career goals

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and counseling to students regarding their educational and career goals
• Assist students in understanding academic requirements, course selection, and program planning
• Conduct assessments to identify students' strengths, interests, and goals
• Develop personalized academic plans for students, taking into account their individual needs
• Provide support and assistance during the college application and admission process
• Organize and conduct workshops and presentations on various educational and career-related topics
• Maintain accurate records of student interactions and progress
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure student success
• Stay up-to-date with current trends and developments in education and career counseling
• Contribute to the overall growth and success of the academic counseling department
