Title of the position: Process Engineer

Department : Engineering

Experience:  Minimum 8  to Maximum 10 years (Graduate Mechanical engineer)

**Experience in engineering companies (power industry). **

Qualification: B Tech (Mechanical)

Skills:

a)      Good at AutoCAD Software, KED etc.

b)     Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)

c)      MS Office

Job Responsibilities:

Technical skills

·      Capable to do sizing calculations for boiler, pumps and other equipment related to power plant.

·      To deal with suppliers and consultants - Related to technical aspects of boiler equipment.

·      Preparation of specification for Safety valves, pump, ash handling system , control valves, Deaerator, Pumps, and other auxiliaries of boiler Island of power plant.

Other tasks

·      Detailed study of the tender/ enquiry documents

·      Preparation of Technical Proposals

·      Thermal Design of Boilers with KED simulation & manual calculations.

·      Process Input to Generate P & I Diagrams.

·      Preparation of technical data sheets, Layouts GA drawings, P & ID’s.

·      Preparing the cost estimate within the terminal points and battery limits

·      Preparing the offer with commercial and technical terms and submitting to Client.

·      Preparation of Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs).

·      Sizing calculations and technical datasheet preparation for bought out items like BFP, fans, safety valves, Ash Handling, etc.

·      Familiar with code like IBR & ASME as per requirement.

·      Review and comments of vendor documents, drawings & data sheets.

·      Attending the various technical discussions with clients and consultant.

·      Solving site related problems like trouble shooting of Bought out items.
