We are actively seeking a seasoned Sr Cloud Migration Engineer who exemplifies a harmonious balance of technical expertise and visionary leadership. In this role, you will hold a critical position in driving strategic initiatives, architecting solutions, and overseeing the implementation of cutting-edge DevOps practices.

Roles and responsibilities:-

• Architect, design, develop, and maintain AWS cloud environments.
• Windows and Linux server administration and automation.
• Experience with Active Directory.
• Experience working with data centers and VMWare technology.
• Experience migrating Physical and Virtual servers from data center to cloud.
• Experience with large-scale migrations is a plus.
• Experience migrating Databases to the cloud.
• Experience building detailed testing and validation plans
• Experience designing DR solutions for workloads
• Ability to lead discovery meetings with application and business owners
• Build and Design migration plans
• In-depth knowledge of a wide range of AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, and more.
• Proficiency in IaC tools like AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK, Terraform, or Ansible to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
• Strong understanding of AWS networking concepts, including Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), VPNs, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, Route 53, Security Groups, and Network ACLs.
• Expertise in AWS security best practices, identity and access management (IAM), encryption, security groups, and network ACLs. Knowledge of AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) roles and policies.
• Manage and optimize AWS costs through tools like AWS Cost Explorer, and AWS Trusted Advisor, and implement best practices for cost-effective resource utilization.
• Deep understanding of network protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, etc.
• Work closely with other teams such as DevOps, seconds, transport, etc
• Must be a self-starter, able to work productively independently, as well as, work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary engineering team.
• Technical proficiency including systems experience, strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, and issue management in a multi-platform environment
• Maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by company and government requirements.
• Communicate and interact effectively with peers, managers, senior leadership
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:-

• 10+ years' experience building, running, and troubleshooting production systems and live environments required
• 5+ years' experience with IaC tools Terraform/Ansible required
• 7+ years' experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services) is required preferably as an AWS Infrastructure Engineer or AWS Network Engineer
• 7+ years' experience with Unix / Linux required
• 7+ years experience with networking and security(e.g., TCP/IP, IPSec, NAT/Firewall rules)
• Experience with NIST SP800-171 preferred
• Must have experience administering Atlassian tools (JIRA, Bitbucket, Confluence, Bamboo)
• Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to effectively handle projects
• AWS Solutions Architect Associate or similar certification preferred
• Experience with Artifactory a plus
• Security Certifications are a plus
