Job Overview

As a Industrial Safety Officer at VERDANT, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients by maintaining safe work environments. This full-time position is based in Chennai and is ideal for candidates with 1 to 3 years of experience at a junior level. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure compliance with safety standards and proactively identify potential hazards.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in industrial safety, with strong knowledge of safety protocols (Mandatory skill).
• Competence in risk assessment to identify and mitigate potential hazards in various work environments.
• Ability to plan and execute emergency response procedures effectively to ensure staff safety.
• Proficient in compliance with local and international safety regulations to assure legal safety standards.
• Experience in conducting thorough accident investigations and contributing to corrective action plans.
• Skilled in hazard identification and risk evaluation processes to prevent workplace injuries.
• Experience with incident reporting and documentation to ensure transparency and accountability.
• Ability to conduct safety inspections and audits to continuously improve workplace safety standards.

Roles and Responsibilities
