Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced SAP PP/QM (Production Planning/Quality Management) Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the implementation, support, and continuous improvement of SAP PP/QM processes, working closely with business stakeholders to ensure effective use of SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• SAP PP (Production Planning):
• Lead the configuration and implementation of SAP PP modules.
• Handle master data management related to materials, BOMs (Bill of Materials), routings, and work centers.
• Define and optimize production planning strategies, MRP (Material Requirement Planning), capacity planning, and production scheduling.
• Implement and support shop floor control and manufacturing execution processes.
• SAP QM (Quality Management):
• Configure and support SAP QM processes including inspection planning, quality notifications, and quality certificates.
• Manage in-process quality checks, final inspections, and audit trails.
• Ensure compliance with industry quality standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand business requirements, translating them into SAP functional specifications.
• Support end users with training and resolve issues related to PP/QM modules.
• Assist in testing new functionalities and troubleshooting system issues.
• Lead or participate in SAP implementation projects, upgrades, and enhancements.
• Work closely with ABAP developers for custom reports and enhancements.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP PP and SAP QM modules.
• Proven experience in configuration, testing, and implementation of SAP PP/QM solutions.
• Understanding of production workflows, manufacturing processes, and quality management standards.
• Strong knowledge of integration points between SAP PP/QM and other modules like MM, SD, and FI/CO.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex configurations.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 1-8 years of experience working with SAP PP/QM modules.
• SAP certification in PP/QM is an added advantage.
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
