Job Summary
The Chief Business Officer will oversee VectorStack’s business strategy and drive growth initiatives that align with our mission. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IT services or technology consulting, a track record of managing large P&L, and a deep understanding of market trends and client needs in the technology sector. This role requires a visionary leader who can create, communicate, and execute strategies that fuel sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning and Execution
Develop and implement comprehensive business strategies to expand VectorStack’s footprint in the IT services market. Work closely with the CEO and executive team to define long-term objectives and growth strategies.
- Market Expansion and Business Development
Identify and explore new markets and growth opportunities, both domestically and internationally. Lead initiatives that drive revenue growth, client acquisition, and client retention, ensuring competitive positioning.
- Revenue and P&L Management
Oversee revenue and profitability goals, ensuring sustainable financial growth. Manage budgets, forecast revenues, and implement strategies that maximize returns and optimize resource allocation.
- Leadership and Cross-Functional Collaboration
Lead cross-functional teams across business development, marketing, and operations to ensure seamless execution of strategic initiatives. Cultivate a high-performance culture with an emphasis on innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
- Client Relationships and Partnerships
Strengthen and nurture relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders. Identify and establish strategic partnerships that align with the company’s growth goals and create additional value for our clients.
- Market and Competitive Intelligence
Keep abreast of industry trends, competitive developments, and technological advancements. Use insights to inform business strategy and maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience: 20+ years in the IT services or technology sector, with at least 10 years in a sales leadership role such as Chief Business Officer, Head of Strategy, or similar.
- Strategic Acumen: Proven experience in developing and executing growth strategies in IT services or technology consulting.
- Leadership: Exceptional team management and cross-functional leadership abilities with a track record of inspiring and leading high-performing teams.
- Financial Expertise: Strong background in P&L management, financial forecasting, and budgetary control.
- Market Knowledge : In-depth understanding of the IT services market, including trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Client Focus : Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to developa strategic partnerships and nurture long-term client relationships.
- Educational Background : B.E./ B.Tech /MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
