We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations at our facility in Indore. The ideal candidate will ensure production efficiency, maintain quality standards, and lead the team in achieving production goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet production schedules and targets.
  • Monitor and manage the performance of production staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
  • Enforce safety and quality standards across all operations to comply with company policies and regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to ensure proper functioning and minimize downtime.
  • Maintain production records, including daily output, materials usage, and downtime reports.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as quality control, maintenance, and logistics, to streamline production workflows.
  • Train and mentor production staff to enhance skills and performance.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions to optimize production efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (2+ years) as a Production Supervisor in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, machinery, and safety protocols.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Proficiency in using production management software or ERP systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills in Hindi and English.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma is a plus.
