Education: Bachelor and Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering, Design, Electronics, Engineering.

Years of Exp. Required: 4 to 6 yrs

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Creates hardware design document that covers design analysis, notes, and specific guidelines followed.
• Performs SPICE analysis of circuits using Altium/OrCAD PSPICE tools
• Performs circuit design and schematic capture using Altium/OrCAD tools
• Create architecture level design specs, block diagrams, IO descriptions, timing
• checks, BOMs, and prototype test plan
• Taking the responsibility to transfer schematic net-list design, ID and ME design into the physical PCB design basing on electrical guidance, signal integrity, power integrity, ID and mechanical integrity, EMC and safety, manufacturing industry spec and end-user usability requirement.
• Create and manage PCB documentation including fabrication and assembly drawings, Gerber files
• Gather design requirements and provide PM with hourly estimates for the design
• Work with mechanical designers to come up with a mechanical board design
• Perform circuit design and schematic capture
• Coordinate and approve PCB layout
• Prepare BOM and fabrication documentation and follow revision control procedures
• Bring up and test of the PCBs and auxiliary electronics

Desired experience for PCB Designer includes:

• Must have strong oral and written communication skills to coordinate and collaborate with local Operations, other site Engineering organizations and customers
• Capable of generating complete drawings set to document PWB and CCA level designs is required
• Candidate must have GD&T and tolerance analysis skills
• Must be able to read and understand engineering drawings, electrical
• schematics, and wiring diagrams, and to translate PWB designer requirements into tool design rules
• Experience of working to IPC standards
• Strong knowledge of the fundamentals of digital and Analog circuit design
