Job Overview

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in using JIRA for project tracking and issue management to effectively streamline the software development lifecycle.
• Experience with TestRail, ensuring comprehensive test case management and result tracking to maintain high product quality standards.
• Familiarity with Selenium as a tool for automated testing, enhancing the accuracy and efficiency of test cases across multiple platforms.
• Competence in cross-browser testing to ensure the consistent functionality and visual representation of web applications in various environments.
• Solid understanding of SQL for data verification and validation to ensure integration integrity throughout software applications.
• Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach to identify, document, and troubleshoot software defects effectively.
• Excellent communication abilities to convey complex technical details clearly to development teams and stakeholders.
• Adaptable and collaborative team player fostering a positive and proactive work environment in a fast-paced tech setting.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive manual tests to identify, document, and report bugs and inconsistencies across applications.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and define acceptance criteria.
• Create, maintain, and execute test cases using TestRail to ensure comprehensive test coverage and documentation.
• Utilize JIRA to report defects and manage bug lifecycles, ensuring transparent communication with development teams.
• Perform cross-browser testing to validate web application functionality and compatibility across diverse browsers and devices.
• Engage in regular project meetings to discuss and refine testing needs and contribute insights for continuous improvement.
• Participate in release processes, conducting regression testing to validate software modifications and new releases.
• Stay updated with the latest testing tools, methodologies, and trends to enhance testing strategies and practices effectively.
