Job Description:

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in performing various administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and documentation.
2. Support the finance and accounting team in tasks including invoice processing, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting.
3. Collaborate with colleagues to assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
4. Conduct research and analysis to support decision-making processes within the organization.
5. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to learn about company policies, procedures, and systems.
6. Assist in coordinating with external vendors, clients, and stakeholders as required.
7. Provide general support to other departments as needed.
8. Learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and software applications used in the workplace.
9. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in handling sensitive information.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Commerce (BCom) or a related field.
2. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
5. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
6. Eagerness to learn and develop new skills.
7. Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
8. Positive attitude and willingness to take on challenges.
9. Adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Internship or Full time work experience in a relevant field is a plus.
2. Familiarity with basic accounting principles and financial concepts.
3. Knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Tally.
4. Certification or coursework in finance, accounting, or related areas.
