Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and motivated Next.js Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in developing high-performance web applications using Next.js and related modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks. You'll collaborate with designers, backend developers, and product teams to deliver exceptional user experiences and scalable applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop dynamic, responsive, and high-performance web applications using Next.js.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Build and maintain reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
• Integrate RESTful APIs, GraphQL, or other backend services into the application.
• Implement server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG) features.
• Debug and resolve performance issues and bugs.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, frameworks, and tools in front-end development.
• Ensure code quality through reviews, unit testing, and following best practices.

Requirements

Must-Have Skills

• Strong experience with Next.js and React.js.
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with SSR and SSG concepts in Next.js.
• Experience with styling libraries like Tailwind CSS, CSS Modules, or Styled Components.
• Knowledge of state management libraries like Redux, Recoil, or Context API.
• Experience integrating APIs (RESTful/GraphQL).
• Strong understanding of Git and version control workflows.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (e.g., Docker, AWS, Vercel).
• Experience with headless CMS platforms like Contentful or Sanity.io.
• Understanding of SEO principles and web accessibility.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress).
• Familiarity with modern build tools like Webpack, Babel, or ESLint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of professional experience in front-end development, with a focus on Next.js.
