Project Manager - Solar/Renewable Energy

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s in Electrical/Electronics/Renewable Energy/Business Admin.

5+ years in solar installation & maintenance, including supplier interactions.

2+ years as a product owner/manager in the solar/renewable sector (EPC preferred).

Strong technical knowledge of solar rooftop systems.

Experience using PV simulation tools (PVsyst, Helioscope, SolarGIS, etc.).

Exposure to government rooftop solar projects and tenders.

Fluent in English & Tamil (Hindi is a plus).

Great leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Expertise:

Lead solar rooftop system design, simulation, and energy assessments.

Provide guidance on standards, regulations, and product improvements.

2. Cost & Budgeting:

Create project budgets and cost models.

Work with suppliers/vendors for efficient costing and quality sourcing.

3. Project & Team Leadership:

Lead cross-functional teams (engineering, procurement, construction).

Ensure timely project execution and smooth collaboration.

4. Stakeholder & Customer Engagement:

Interact with clients, suppliers, and government bodies.

Gather feedback to enhance product features and service quality.

5. Monitoring & Market Trends:

Track performance (cost, energy output, customer satisfaction).
