Job Overview: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver Cum Helper to join our team. In this dual role, you will be responsible for driving vehicles safely and assisting in the loading/unloading of goods. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience as a driver and helper, ensuring smooth transportation and delivery operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Driving Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods, materials, or passengers to designated locations.
• Ensure adherence to all traffic laws and company driving policies.
• Perform regular vehicle checks and maintain the vehicle in good condition.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods to clients or customers while following the designated route.

2.Helper Responsibilities:

• Assist in loading and unloading goods/materials from vehicles.
• Organize goods in the vehicle to ensure secure transportation.
• Help in the packaging and sorting of goods when necessary.
• Ensure that goods are delivered safely without any damage.
• Assist with manual labor tasks, including lifting, stacking, and carrying materials.

3.Vehicle Maintenance:

• Perform basic vehicle maintenance such as checking oil, tires, and fluid levels.
• Report any vehicle issues or accidents to management immediately.
• Keep the vehicle clean and presentable.

4.Safety & Compliance:

• Follow all safety protocols during transportation and delivery.
• Adhere to company and legal regulations related to driving and delivery.
• Ensure all required documentation (e.g., delivery receipts, manifests) is completed accurately.

5.Customer Service:

• Provide excellent service while interacting with customers during deliveries or pickups.
• Address any customer concerns or queries with professionalism and courtesy.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as a driver and helper.
• License: Valid driving license (commercial or relevant to vehicle type).
• Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy items.
• Vehicle Knowledge: Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance.
• Communication Skills: Ability to interact with customers and team members effectively.
