We are a web development company with over 10 years of experience, offering services in websites, digital marketing, software development, and mobile app development. As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking a Business Development Manager (BDM) to build and lead our sales operations from the ground up, focusing on acquiring international clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Setup: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy targeting international clients, including web development, digital marketing, software, and mobile app development services.
- Sales Infrastructure: Set up and manage the entire sales process, including CRM systems, lead qualification, and sales reporting.
- Bidding Platform Expertise: Utilize bidding platforms (e.g., Upwork, Freelancer) to pitch and secure projects, managing the process from proposal submission to deal closure.
- Lead Generation & Outreach: Identify and engage potential clients across platforms such as LinkedIn, Upwork, and other relevant forums.
- Client Acquisition: Manage the full sales cycle—pitching, proposal development, negotiations, and contract finalization.
- Collaboration with Management: Work closely with the technical team and leadership to ensure smooth client handovers and align services with client needs.
- Market Research: Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitors, and potential opportunities for growth.
- Relationship Building: Develop strong client relationships to foster long-term partnerships and upsell opportunities.
- Sales Reporting: Regularly update management on sales performance, client acquisition metrics, and strategic insights.
Qualifications and Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in business development roles within core IT companies.
- Proven expertise in setting up and managing sales processes in the IT industry.
- Strong experience in using bidding platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, and others to secure international projects.
- Solid understanding of web development, digital marketing, software development, and mobile app services.
- Track record of success in pitching and closing deals with international clients.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
