Brief Job Profile:

The role would require execution of the production plan, managing effective shop floor operations, productivity targets, quality norms, and scrap control, compliance with timelines & safety norms. The position will report to the Sr. Manager-Operations.

Location: Kadi (North Gujarat)

Job Qualification & Experience:

• B.E. / B. Tech Mechanical Engineering with 12-15 years of total experience OR
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 15-20 years of total experience.
• In either of the above case, the candidate must have worked in a Managerial capacity for 7-10 years in an Engineering/HVAC/Automobile/HVAC Manufacturing unit with a workforce.

Job Description:

• Execute Production Plan &Manage production efficiency through a team of Asst. Managers, Engineers & Supervisors
• Monitor production timeline, quality, and design specification
• Oversee Plant Maintenance
• Control Process Loss
• Meet Straight Pass Standards and minimize the re-work & quality rejections.
• Adhere to Safety Norms
• Manage Internal & External Quality & Systems Audit
• Plan workforce requirements, and shifts and manage overtime in an optimum manner
• Manage teams in a cordial manner.

Skills & Abilities:

• Efficient HR administration and people management skills.
• Must have Manpower Management & Labor Management skills.
• Must be conversant with 5S/KAIZEN and Quality Audit Systems
• Must have sound knowledge about Statutory & Factory compliances, Safety Norms, etc.
• Must have hands-on experience in CNC &skills in the understanding of product design.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English, Hindi & Gujarati.
• Must have basic computer literacy with email and MS Office capability. Exposure to ERP System would be an added advantage.
• Must be enthusiastic and have zeal to take new initiatives.
• Should be willing to work the shifts.
