SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS FOR MECHANICAL MANAGER:

Strong knowledge of the tools and techniques used to maintain, diagnose problems, and repair HVAC and associated electrical systems Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, chillers and critical application systems, Uninterrupted Power Supplies, emergency power generators and various building automation systems Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, microprocessor, and pneumatic control systems Ability to calibrate and test thermostats and DDC controls Proficient in evacuation, recovery, and charging of refrigerants Ability to perform combustion analysis on gas fired equipment Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics Ability to interpret diagrams, drawings and equipment manuals Knowledge of state and local codes Ability to motivate, manage, and train a team of employees at various skill levels Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills Proficient with computers Excellent customer service skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work on-call hours as necessary Ability to multi-task and juggle multiple priorities Strong organizational skills Crain & lifting machine maintenance
