Based in our Chennai office, this full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and agile environment. You'll contribute to our ongoing success by conducting thorough tests and collaborating within our multidisciplinary teams to facilitate seamless customer experiences.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in test automation, ensuring comprehensive testing of software products and reducing manual workload through scripting.
• Solid understanding of software testing principles, encompassing both manual and automated testing methodologies.
• Experience in test planning to effectively outline and execute testing procedures ensuring software meets specified requirements.
• Expertise in defect tracking with the ability to document and communicate issues accurately within the development team.
• Competence in regression testing to verify that new code changes do not adversly affect existing features.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies, promoting efficient workflow and collaboration within cross-functional teams.
• Skilled in scripting languages, which are essential for creating automated test scripts and enhancing test procedures.
• Strong grasp of manual testing practices, crucial for identifying and solving issues that automation might miss.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated and manual tests to ensure the software's functionality and performance meet the established standards.
• Collaborate with developers to identify, report, and resolve software defects and discrepancies effectively.
• Participate in the review of requirements and specifications to provide input in test plans and test case creation.
• Develop and maintain a test automation framework to streamline the testing process and improve efficiency.
• Perform thorough regression testing after changes to ensure ongoing system integrity and quality.
• Document and maintain test processes, results, and logs to improve communication and transparency within teams.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing practices and tools to enhance current methods.
• Engage in continuous learning to keep up-to-date with industry changes and advances in the testing domain.
