Job Overview
We are seeking a Junior Assistant Manager Finance Account at our Chennai location to join our full-time team. The successful candidate will have essential experience in IT software company finance accounts. This role demands proficiency in accounts payable and receivable, along with expertise in using Zoho Books and Zoho Payroll.
Qualifications and Skills
- Software company experience in finance accounts, essential for understanding industry-specific financial nuances (Mandatory skill).
- Proven experience in accounts payable & receivable within an IT software company context to ensure accurate financial transactions (Mandatory skill).
- Proficiency in Zoho Books and Zoho Payroll is mandatory, being pivotal tools in our financial operations (Mandatory skill).
- Required skills in budget management to effectively oversee financial planning and resource allocation within the company.
- Comprehensive understanding of tax compliance, ensuring adherence to financial regulations and avoiding any legal issues.
- Experience in financial reporting to generate accurate reports and support senior management in strategic decision making.
- End to end finance and account handling experience specifically in IT software companies, ensuring robust financial operations.
- Inter CA qualification, which signifies advanced financial expertise and understanding, aiding in complex financial assessments.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions.
- Utilize Zoho Books and Zoho Payroll for efficient financial management and payroll processing, ensuring seamless operations.
- Coordinate with various departments to align budget management efforts with business goals and financial constraints.
- Coordinating with the team to raise bills and send invoices to customers (clients)
- Ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations and financial laws, minimizing risks for the company.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports that detail financial performance and offer insights for management decisions.
- Filing GST, TDS, PT, PF, and all related documents in finance.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures aligned with company goals and industry standards.
- Assist in annual budget preparation and ongoing monitoring of financial performance against the set budget.
- Liaise with external auditors, providing necessary documentation and explanations for audit purposes.
