Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Application Security DevOps Engineer with 4 to 6 years of experience to join our team. This is a full-time position based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security of our applications and infrastructure, as well as implementing and maintaining DevOps practices.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 4 to 6 years of experience in application security and DevOps
• Hands-on experience with industry-standard security tools and practices
• Strong knowledge of secure coding principles and best practices
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) and configuration management tools
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization technologies
• Understanding of network security concepts and protocols
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Roles and Responsibilities

• Implement and oversee application security measures to protect our software and infrastructure
• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability testing
• Develop and maintain secure coding practices and standards
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to identify and address security concerns
• Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines
• Perform threat modeling and risk assessments
• Monitor and respond to security incidents
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security standards, best practices, and technologies
• Contribute to the overall DevOps culture and advocate for security
