Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced App-Sec -DevOps Engineer to join our team at Twixor. As an App-Sec -DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and reliability of our applications and infrastructure while also managing the DevOps processes. This is a mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience.

Qualifications and Skills

• 4 to 6 years of experience in application security and DevOps.
• Strong knowledge of secure coding practices and vulnerability management.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Proficiency in scripting languages and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and container orchestration platforms (e.g., AWS ECS, Google Kubernetes Engine).
• Working knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
• Hands-on experience with security testing tools (e.g., OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, Nessus).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain security measures to protect our applications and infrastructure.
• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security best practices are followed throughout the development and deployment processes.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches, conducting forensic investigations as necessary.
• Design and implement DevOps processes and tools to streamline software development and deployment.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Work closely with software engineers to integrate security and DevOps practices into the development lifecycle.
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies and tools in the fields of application security and DevOps.

·        2+ years of DevOps experience and managing the entire infrastructure

·        2+ years of experience with cloud technologies ( Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, ELK etc)

·        2+ years of experience working on AWS platform including scripting and automation

·        2+ year of experience with Infrastructure as Code on Ansible / Vagrant / Terraform

·        2+ years of experience API Restful and web portal

·         Strong background in Linux

·        Familiarity with SQL / MySQL

·        Excellent communication skills as you will be working with teams across different geographies
