Role Overview:

The Web Design Trainee position offers an exciting opportunity for aspiring web designers to immerse themselves in the professional design world. Under the guidance of our seasoned web designers, the trainee will get hands-on experience in designing functional and aesthetically pleasing websites, while also learning the intricacies of user experience and interface design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Assistance:
• Collaborate with the design team to develop visually compelling website layouts.
• Assist in creating graphics, banners, and other web visuals.
• Learning & Development:
• Attend workshops, webinars, and training sessions to sharpen design skills.
• Engage in regular feedback sessions to understand areas of improvement.
• UX & UI Understanding:
• Learn the principles of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design.
• Assist in developing wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to visualize website structures.
• Content Placement:
• Work with the content team to ensure textual and visual content is appropriately placed and presented on websites.
• Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with developers to understand the feasibility of designs and adjust based on technical constraints.
• Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to understand project scopes and client requirements.

Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of web design principles and tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or Figma.
• A keen eye for design and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus, but not mandator
