Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a SQL Development Architect located in Bengaluru. The SQL Development Architect will be responsible for software development, architecture, solution architecture, integration, and web services. The role will involve day-to-day tasks such as designing and implementing SQL databases, creating and optimizing SQL queries, collaborating with development teams, and overseeing data migration projects.

Responsibilities:

· Database Design and Architecture: Lead the design and development of scalable, distributed and efficient database solutions using SQL Server and other relevant technologies. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into robust database designs.

· Data Migration and Transformation: Oversee the planning and execution of data migration projects, ensuring the successful transfer of data between systems while maintaining data integrity and security. Implement data transformation processes to meet business objectives and regulatory requirements.

· Performance Tuning and Optimization: Analyze database performance metrics and identify opportunities for optimization. Implement best practices for indexing, query optimization, and database tuning to enhance system performance and reliability.

· Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, software engineers, and business stakeholders, to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

· Documentation and Compliance: Maintain comprehensive documentation of database architecture, data models, and migration processes. Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and industry standards, such as GDPR and HIPAA.

Skills & Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

· Proven experience as a SQL Architect or similar role, with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in database design and development.

• · Proficiency in SQL programming, including advanced query optimization techniques and stored procedure development. Experience in solution architecture and integration

· Strong expertise in database technologies such as SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Data Factory.

· Experience with data migration tools and methodologies, including schema mapping, ETL processes, and data validation.

· Hands-on experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools, including the development of complex dashboards and reports.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

· Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
